The leather chairs and comfy sofas at Soho Works filled up quickly for this long-awaited talk on issues of diversity. After Amanda Neville and Bola Agbaje talked about their personal experiences of fighting for equality and diversity at our talk in May 2016, we now planned a panel discussion on diversity in the arts workforce specifically, and talked about what organisations can do to embed better practice in reaching and hiring individuals who are under-represented. Our panel included Chi-chi Nwanoku (Founder of Chineke! Foundation), Mwila Mulenshi (Education Lead at Creative Access) and Milica Robson (Senior Relationship Manager for Diversity at Arts Council England) and was chaired by Deborah Williams (Diversity expert).
