More popular than ever, museum lates are a great way to get a taste of what London’s museums have to offer and to fit some culture into your calendar. We’ve rounded up 5 our favourites from across the capital.
1. Friday Late, Victoria and Albert Museum.
The original museum late, the V&A’s Friday Lates have been running for 20 years and have included some unique moments of performance, installation, DJs and debate. Free, drop in, last Friday in every month (except May and December).
If you love to dress up, don't miss the Royal Academy's RA lates, where the dress code takes inspiration from the gallery's exhibition programme. Look out for the Pleasure Garden themed Late this summer. From £25.
The Uniqlo Tate Lates at Tate Modern are well-known for featuring DJs sets, spoken word, art workshops, pop-up talks and more in the gallery’s famous Turbine Hall. Last Friday of every month (except December). Free entry.
