YPIA - Digital Media and the Arts | 9th June 2015 | 7
Location: The Hospital Club, 24 Endell Steet, London, WC2H 9HQ
With the ever-increasing presence of digital media around us, we need to think more about how we can use digital tools in the arts to make our work stand out. This panel discussion will look at how digital media affect the production and our consumption of art, and will spend some time specifically focusing on the use of apps.
We look forward to welcoming our panel: Jeff Boardman, the Creative Director of I'm@app and Engagement Director of Purple Seven Daisy Evans, Artistic Director of Silent Opera and Luke Ritchie, Digital Director at the Philharmonia Orchestra. The event will be chaired by Steve Polydorou, Co-Director of Wash Media.
Doors open at 6.30, the talk starts at 7.00 pm. This discussion will be followed by networking drinks in the Oak Bar at the Hospital Club.
