Out of Hours and Off-site Arts Events – Arts organisations’ new agenda
From museum-style sleepovers, to highly curated after-work gallery openings and quirky classical music performances in pubs, late nights and off-site pop-ups offer an innovative take on programming and have become increasingly popular in London and beyond. Audience outreach, marketing coups, innovation... why are these events an integral part of the agenda for arts organisations?
Held at Soho Works Shoreditch with a panel of speakers from the arts world, this discussion will explore the impact that these events have on audiences, new and old, as well as the brand of the institution. Speakers are:
John Holmes, Director of Marketing and Audience Development, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment
Bethan Johnson, Friday Late Nights Coordinator, V&A
Lucy Woodbridge, Head of Visitor Events, Natural History Museum
Penny Mills, London Director, The Audience Agency (Panel chair)
Please note that entrance to Soho Works Shoreditch (part of private-members club Shoreditch House) is on Bethnal Green Road, next door to Pizza East (look for the TEA sign).
Do join us for drinks at one of the bars at Soho Works Shoreditch after the discussion.
