Advocating for the Arts: Samuel West | 22nd November 2017 | 7pm
Location: Soho Works, Tea Building, 56 Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6JJ
As young arts professionals it's easy to feel distant from the policy making, debate and negotiation that goes on at senior level within arts organisations, across the sector and beyond. Yet the advocacy and discussions about the place and importance of the arts taking place now will shape the organisations that you could be managing in the years to come. How can those at the start of their career have an impact and get their voices heard?
For the third event of our 10th anniversary season, we are delighted to announce that we will be joined by Samuel West, actor, director, and Chair of the National Campaign for the Arts, to talk about how we can all be arts advocates.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A and networking drinks at the Soho Works bar. Entrance to Soho Works is via the Tea Building on Bethnal Green Road.
